Question Clutch Replacement Question

So this will be my first time replacing a clutch as all my other vehicles have always been automatics. Before I go out and buy a clutch set I wanted to get some input as to what all should I replace?

Currently it will shift into all the gears but it seems to have trouble shifting into 3rd without grinding gears (as if the clutch isn't engaging and stopping the gears from moving).

Do you think it would be best to get a clutch "set" that replaces the clutch disc, pressure plate and bearing or do you think just replacing the clutch disc is all that is needed?

Its a 94 Cherokee Sport 4.0

Thanks for everyone's input in advance, its much appreciated!!!!

you have a 94, like mine so you have a external slave (which is a good thing) and internal bearing. you never want to just replace the clutch disc, always replace the clutch in a whole. when you do it, dont buy another flywheel, just resurface your old one. get a stock clutch (i use a stock clutch on my jeep with 35's and duel lockers) it is the best. get a new bearing with it, and buy a new shifter fork (like $20 from the dealer). here is what you need for the clutch

and the shift fork:

then just resurface your fly wheel and you will all set for less then $150!

I feel the new t/o bearing isn't just a good idea, its mandatory. If you are having problems shifting it is more likely your synchros. When clutches wear they don't stop disengaging, quite the opposite. You could have a bad t/o bearing but I would bleed the hydraulic system first. The only real way a clutch doesn't fully disengage and causes problems like that is when they're out of adjustment and your clutch is not adjustable.... Throwout bearing wear also. I have seen issues like this when the pressure plate starts coming apart so that's possible but not likely.

So if I was to go down to my local auto parts store would these parts cover everything I would need or am I missing something?
