Default Clutch Issue

Hey guys, recently picked up a new XJ, 1991 4.0 5sp. Im having some clutch issues, not sure if a leak (cant find any fluid leaking) or the master cylinder. The clutch goes to the floor with no resistence, but comes right back up. Pushing in the clutch doesnt disengage the clutch either so i cant shift into any gears. Its out of fluid, so im going to pick some up from autozone later. Just wondering if i should pick up a new clutch master cylinder and or new lines as well. Their is a tiny bit of fluid on the floor mat, but not very much. any ideas or information i should add to help? Also im aware i contradicted myself on the leak part, just figured, such a small leak on the driver side floor couldnt be the cause.

Ok so i bled the clutch to get any air bubbles out, and put a couple paper towels under the clutch to see if any fluid leaked onto them. ill check today, however if anyone has any advice or experience with this same issue id appreciate it. after reading some other threads im guessing its the master cylinder but i dont want to go replacing things till im sure.

if it were me I'd replace the lines too while you're there .. Atleast look them over very well.

makes sense, might as well make sure all the fittings are tight, and no visible leaks. will do

Wipe down fuse box if wet. Clutch fluid eats them up bad.

Hey thanks for the advice, turns out my 91 has lines from a 90's cherokee. So I just had to swap the part for a 90's master cylinder. Wiped down the fuse box, gonna spray down the undercarriage tomorrow to make sure if another leak starts somewhere I'll be able to tell. Thanks a ton for all the recommendations. Wasn't too hard just wish I had a socket tith an elbow might of made it easier :/.
