So you may have seen my previous posts about this 1999 XJ Limited 2wd Im working on. The cluster isnt working and gets NO BUS and a check engine code. Codes are P1698 and P1694. They both mean that there is a loss of communication between the PCM and TCM/ECM. The Engine Control Module is new and all the other main units seem to be working properly. The cluster has been tested and works properly and gets power. Still it wont receive a signal from the computer. WHERE IS THE PROBLEM. My bud who's a professional mechanic and I are trying to trace the loss of communication but we need to find a DIAGRAM FOR THE WIRING to the CLUSTER.
