i have a 98 xj and the rear tires are wearing the inside rib of the tire only?? any thoughts on what could be causing this? i just had and alignment done last weekend. the shop didn't say anything about anything being bad in the rear. someone told me possible bent axle but really could it be 2 bent axles? any help would be great,

It is most likely a bent housing, not the actual axle shafts. I know someone who bent both axle housings on his 06 or 07 Rubicon LJ with just wheeling. He's never jumped it, but has had to "bump" it a few times to get over some areas.
