Clunking noise.
While driving down the road my Cherokee starting vibrating a little then clicking now its clunking like hell. Seems to be coming from the drivers side front wheel. The faster you go the faster it clunks. But if you push the brake to slow down the clunking noise goes away completely. Let off the brake and shes clunking all over again. Any idea what the cause of this is?

Loose caliper? Bad axle shaft u-joint? Best to pull that wheel and move stuff around. Let us know what you find.

Well don't I feel stupid... I'm looking for every problem in te book for this clunking noise. It was the lug nuts YIKES. 2 weeks ago I had a tire fixed. They didn't tighten te wheel down much. I haven't driven it but 20 miles since the tire change. I went and ripped some *** at the tire shop. I got a simple chuckle and a slight I'm sorry. Ugh so mad
