Default clock no lighting and dimmer no dimming!

Hey y'all,

I recently realized after taking the dash cover off to put the fog switch back in its hole that now my dimmer and clock aren't working/lighting. I checked the fuse and they're good. The lights for the dash come on they just don't dim, and the clock doesn't light up at all. Anyone else have this issue?

If you lights do not dim more then likely it your head light switch. It ma be full of crud or bad. As for the clock I have no idea mine never had a clock

My dimmer switch works intermittently; usually when I hit bumps I can dim it then hit another one and I cant. Weird.

But now I hear a knock noise when I apply the brakes and a smell of burning rubber although the tires aren't hot or the serp belt.

Any ideas on that?!

your headlight switch is getting too hot and melting. change it out. or you can put your headlights on a custom relay using the headlight switch/beam selector as the triggers.
