Climate Control Vacuum
Guys,
I have tired of searching for "vacuum" combinations on here, so I will ask. A/c and heat are all blowing through the defroster. I have been running down lines and believe the problem to be in the climate control in the dash. Is there a check before I start ripping the dash apart? I have a vacuum gauge but not sure that will help me pinpoint the problem.
Thanks in advance.

As thought, I found the vacuum bottle in the bumper to be the culprit tonight. I pulled the bottle out and checked the vacuum hoses that went through the front and found the line to be broken and the connector to the bottle cracked. Once I pulled out the bottle, I also noticed it was full of water. It appeared to have no leaks, but it was taking forever to jiggle the water out.
The bottle kinda looks like a football, so I took a sports needle, put it on my air hose, and pressurized the bottle. Water shot out of that thing like a fire hose. Did it several times and got the water out. Reconnected it to the vacuum hose next to the battery, started it up and the controls worked!
Now...AC system check....but I fear it's gonna be a doozie!
