Alright so I have 6.5" of lift with an sye. Front d/s front and rear.
The front driveshaft appeared to be making a clicking sound.
I removed the driveshaft and there is no more clicking sound.
There is no obvious rubbing or grinding. The angle does appear to be less than favorable.
Has anyone had this problem before? I have a 2000 xj with a low pinion dana 30.

Sounds like you have figured where the sound is coming from.
It's the same D/S in the front as it was before ?
Did you replace the joints in the d/s?
Re-check that the yoke bolts were tight?

had a clicking noice...
took the front driveshaft out...
no more clicking noise...
wheres the problem?
laying in the driveway when you realised theres no more clicking noise when you took the driveshaft out... you answered your own question...
Also im moving this to OEM tech... since its a OEM driveshaft and OEM u joints and not you trying to install a 454 in your cherokee...
goodluck with the u joint replacement!

the driveshaft is good. the u-joints are good. this has been an issue since I went up to 6.5" I think it is a pinion angle issue.
Is there a solution anyone has had luck with other than a TC drop. I tried a 1" and 2" drop and that had no change.

Im thinking it's the d/s angle. I'm going to attempt adjusting my upper control arms to turn my pinion upward. I'm just not sure how far to equal about 6*. I have 6* shims in the rear with a front d/s and that works perfect so I'm going with the same idea in the front maybe less. If I adjust the lowers I put myself back into death wobble.
