Clicking noise after changing ckp? (4.0L)
I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (4.0L). I asked this question in the grand section, but no one has anything. Same year and engine as this section, so I'm hoping someone here has some thoughts.
Changed the CKP yesterday. Now when it's running there's a new clicking sort of noise. Sounds like it's coming from the area where the CKP is, and changes speed of clicks with speed of engine, however it doesn't sound like an engine noise at all. And the engine itself sounds perfectly normal.
Any thoughts?
--Update-
Jeep is still running perfectly fine, I drove it around the block a little this morning. After the short drive, the noise is still there, but much fainter.
