Default Clear Coat question

I was at one of those DIY car wash bays about a month ago. When I was done I noticed a dull stain on the rear passenger door, that wasn't there before, where it looks like some of the clear coat has been damaged:

I'm not sure how it happened, possibly some concentrated soap detergent from the brush fell onto the door? I'd like to try and repair it as the stain looks awful. Is there a way to fix the clear coat easily?

notify the car wash and show them the pictures since you have them just after it came out of the car wash. See if they will repair the spot on their dime or know how to fix it.

x2. They should definitely be held accountable for that.

X3 that sucks, but they will claim it was pre-existing.

I would have done this, however it happened over a month ago and it was at one of those places that don't have attendants. Its a coin operated DIY car wash.

Any other suggestions on how I might fix the clear coat?

thanks

You would have to be able to prove, it happen in the car wash. (Earlier pictures?) But in your photo album, I see that your graphics disappeared off the sides, within the last three months. (which I don't blame you).... You could try buffing it off, if it isn't too deep into the clear. Maybe by hand first, with a little compound on a soft cloth...... JMO!
