Does anyone have anyway to clean the air ducts on a cherokee? The PO of my jeep apparently had a dog because i get a faint smell of said dog when air is coming out of the vents. I know its a weird question but any input is appreciated.

i guess a quick way would be to pop off your air vent louvers inside your jeep and then spray/or whipe the ducting, you could also remove your blower motor and try to whipe and spray.... kinda of a weird issue,
or you could just buy like 2 dozen packs of air freshenors that hang from your mirror and let them soak it all up and run with your windows down
lol idk i guess good luck

That musty smell is probably not just dog residue you smell. There is a procedure for cleaning the system, this is for the WJ but all are similar. http://www.wjjeeps.com/hvac_clean.htm

There is another possible cause for the smell. The AC housing. You probably have mold growing in there. It is common in household systems. You can access it through a panel that comes off to change the heater core. Then just dump some bleach in it.
