Default Cig. Lighter Replacement

When replacing do I have to remove the complete instrument bezel/cover or is mounted independently?

thanks

89 The socket is actually good but the wiring on the back got knocked off & wasn't discovered until it was too late........
Like to use it for my spotlight.

Oh! That's what I've got too! The panel comes off and there are two screws above it and one below it. The socket itself probably comes loose, I've never tried it. You can always mount auxiliary plugs too, I've got a bunch in mine

Yeah the dash bezel needs to come off. Only a few screws. And the cig lighter is only 3 screws after that. Should be easy
