From looking online it seems that the Chrysler should take around 2 qts to fill. Well I just changed my oil from the original break in oil ( just re-geared ), and filled her with 3qts... Is that going to cause any issues? Should I try and extract some gear oil?
How many quarts on the D30HP?

Thanks man. reason I ask is because I see soo many different takes on the fill level. But after more and more reading its obvious to me now.. I have aftermarket diff covers... So that means more fluid. Thats why. So from now on, I'll do 2.5 in the rear and 1.5 in the front.

You're welcome. The raised plugs on the diff should be a good level for you since you have so much lift on there. You don't want to overfill them, the pressure will build inside the axle and push it out of the vent tube.
Off subject, I noticed you have the 2.2's in your rig. Did RC finally make them where they fit the larger lifts? I saw a few threads with guys that had the 6.5 inch but the shocks were way to short limiting their flex. Just curious if they corrected it. Thanks.

Truthfully, i scored this rig on the cheap. He wanted 4k, got it for 2k.. Guess he was strapped for cash. Ive had it for around 6mths now and nothing has popped out as problematic ( little things but nothing major ).
So To answer your question, Im unsure. I havent really flexed it out yet. Anyway of knowing forsure?

Nice job getting your rig for 1/2 price! I will keep you in mind when purchasing my next Jeep. haha!
The way I checked mine is to remove one of the front shocks at the stud end and jack it up as far as you can and take a measurement to see how long of shocks you need for your lift. If you lift it all the way up and the Jeep goes past the shock where it doesn't touch anymore, you're limiting your flex. I got lifted WJ shocks on the front of mine for extra travel and I've been asked if I had long arms. Nope, still got my shorties.
