Default Chirp/squeak over bumps

Every time my suspension moves i'm getting a chirp

I'm thinking it's driveshaft related but i've read it could be transmission bolts or power steering related

Anybody else ever have this problem?

99xj 3" lift bastard pack rear, skyjacker coils front

It was worse in the winter and went away until i lifted it a few weeks ago

It could be power steering related though because I honestly don't think my power steering works :X

I'm sure it's something involving your bastard pack. the leaves could be rubbing together. or if it's from the front... it could be any sort of suspension component. doubt it's anything with power steering or tranny... etc.

It made the squeak before i lifted it, any time the jeep bounces it makes the noise.

I had the same issue on my xj, just take a look on the suspension and try to check all the nuts and grease everything that could move. It helped my xj

My 04 Grand Cherokee squeeks too and it sounds like all rubber type squeeking. I don't know if this is common or if it is a simple fix. It only has 29K on it. Who can comment on this and give me some tips.

Squeaks are usually never anything serious. Clunks and bangs and pops should worry you

Do you have long arms? If not then you still have the stock crossmember. See the bolts are tight or if it moves at all
