I'd like to put some new rims/tires on my 1999 Sport. She doesn't have a lift yet. I'm new to the rim game. Is it possible to put on rims from a newer grand cherokee? What rim size are the 99 XJ's. Suggestions?

Stock ones are 15x7. Any 15x7 will fit but backspacing will affect rubbing. the bolt pattern in 5 on 4.5", aftermarket rims are easy to find on almost any website that sells parts. Quadratec has a great selection. And to answer your question, and 1993-2004 Grand Cherokee rim should fit

 

No go , the rims from the grand only fit till 98, then they went to 5x5 bolt circle , yours will be 5x4.5, tj wheels till 06, ford ranger and explorer will work.
