Cherokee XJ dash REMOVAL
Key words are XJ and removal
I have a need to completely remove my dash, I have googled and googled
Tons of "GRAND" Cherokee dash removal videos
Tons of Cherokee Instrument cluster removals
There was one super fast time lapsed video shot from about 15 feet away that was no help.
Is there any video, write up, picture book on removing the 2000-2001 XJ dash??
Thanks,

Country,
sending PM thanks, I did get the dash out, but could use it for the heater/AC box remova/replacement.
Dave,
You the man, the manual did the trick, I was hung up on if/how the tilt column came out, alter reviewing the manual it was out in 10 minutes.
The hardest part of dash removal is the "Indiana Jones" electrical connecters,, every connector is different and not obvious how to release.
So dash is out, changing out A/C coil, heater core, swapping in clutch pedal unit (doing an AW4 -> AX15 swap).
Now to figure out if there is any quality heater cores left on the planet ?

The dash removal was not as bad as I thought it would be.
I had it out in under 2 hours,, 1/2 of that time was stopping to figure out how to remove the steering column, and figure out each elec connector.
Doing it a 2nd time, I could take it out in under 45 min, no problem.
The one connector that gave me fits was one of the 3 that have the bolt in the center. there is 2 on the left of the column, and one on the right.
of the 2 on the left (they are side by side), the left of those 2, would no separate, the bolt loosened and the connector became loose, but it felt like just before the bolt would clear the nut, the nut was spinning back there. had to put my ultra small vise grips on the bolt head and PULL on it the last to rotations and it came free.
