When I am in park I rev it to 2 grand and it dies out when it gets to zero? Any ideas?

 

Do not rev to 2 grand in park.

^^ what he said. Why are you revving it in park? So it won't go anywhere? Do it in neutral with the brake applied. Engines do all sorts of stuff when revved up in park

I just did a oil change so after it was all lubricated I gave it a quick couple revs to get it up to temperature so I can check the oil level when hot that's when I seen that it was dying out when I let it to drop back down with no gas

 

I just cleaned that out last week I guess I could take it out and clean it again see if it helps

 

Have you checked to see if it only does it in park?
