cherokee rear end

Default cherokee rear end

i have a 2000 cherokee and getting ready to lift it, but i need to know which rear end i have if it is a dana 35 or a chrysler rear end. the only badge i found on the rear end said 3569, any help would be appreciated

flat bottom is 8.25 and round is dana 35... i think

Mine is an 8.25, flat bottom, rubber plug on the right side. I think the dana's all have a steel plug.

Some d35's have rubber plugs. The later years I believe.

This is on a 2000 cherokee sport, 4" RC lift, 4.0L. I believe it's a C8.25, any conformation?

It's not mine yet, going to buy it probibly today. I'll get the leak fixed, should be just a gasket issue

cool, good luck with the purchase.
and yeah, it looks like it's just a cover seal leak. clean it up and some fresh rtv should fix it up.
