Question cherokee lift.... does this look good?

so here is the link to my cart on ruustys offroad website... http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc

what do yall think of what i have here? would this work good for me if i was driving my cherokee (that i will soon have) as a dd. i plan on 33's-35's depending on if i can find a deal on tires at the time. i know it will prob need trimmed but would this be a good set up for 1200 or should i find somethin else.... point me in the right direction... i dont really wanna spend more then 1500 but 2000 would be maxxed out for me to spend on a lift. thanks for any input.

that link is to the rustys main page. Might want to just list out what you got. Also keep in mind gearing and all for a dd. If you're going to be running highway/superslab and all that cames into play. With tires that size you won't do much for long if you're running a dana 35 rearend. I just lifted my dd and have kept it reasonable at 31s d/t me not wanting to do drastic gear changes and axel changes.

Thats a pretty tall lift, like 7 inches it looks like. Id go a little bit shorter and run a 4.5 long arm and like 33's. That will give you a much lower center of gravity and more money in your pocket with no real loss in capability. Save you money for a locker or something, will help you out alot more than those extra 2 inches.

Rusty's makes decent stuff, just take your time and dont rush to spend that much money and then regret not buying something else later. If you have an automatic cherokee then you should be alright driving around on stock gears, wont make it undriveable, if ypu have a standard then i'd look into some 4.10 gears too.

thats not to big... cant fit 35's without trimming but can run 33's with lots of flex room... a good setup...

The only issues I have had with Rusty's is shipping costs. Go all the way through your shopping cart, it may only be 1291 in parts but they charge alot for shipping. I was going to get a kit through them, but it ended up being a lot cheaper to order from Rough Country and there customer service is great. I got a 3.5" kit from them, 1" shackles and a 1" spacer from ebay. Then ordered a full set of adjustable control arms and ended up with a really nice set up. I have 31" tires right now, I trimmed my fenders so when I eventually replace my axles I will be running 33s. But for now the lift with those adjustable control arms and space from trimming I can nearly bury the entire tire into the fender. I don't have any issues keeping up with my buddies 78 FJ with a 327sbc and 34" tires.

if your going to spend that much fyi rustys will give you a rough ride. for that much money go with the rough counrty 4.5 inch long arm kit and you wont need a sye or new driveshaft. you also will get much better ride, looks sexxy, flexs nicely.
if u go with that u want ude be looking at putting 35's on and then ude need new axles and new gearing new steering set up on and on and on. go with the 4.5 and you will enjoy it.
