ok i thought all cherokees were unibody, right?

All XJ Cherokee's are. But you have the older FJ Cherokee's that have a frame..

i thought they did but today a friend of mine proved me wrong. he has a 96 xj with a full frame from the factory. he/his parents are the original owners of the jeep and it has a full frame. ill snap pictures tomorrow.

tell ur friend he is a tart. There is a frame!! They consider it a unibody because the body is welded to the frame. thats y you cant body lift cherokees

his right ya know, there is actually a full frame sitting there but it is welded to the unibody , best of both worlds ?? XJ is king again LOL

ya man it does look a lot like a real frame but if u look harder u see theres no body mounts anywhere and no gaps

just so you are all on the same page Cherokee use a UNIFRAME
they have a frame its just Incorporated into the body

im cuious how many xj's body's have rusted off there frames. i have enjoyed my jeep for years but i got almost no floor left. my carpet and frame rail hold me up.
