Go to the Jeep website and you can get the build sheet for your Jeep if you have the serial number and it is 1992 or newer. If like me you have a Renix era Jeep you can ask specific questions and they will respond via e-mail, but no build sheets are available any longer.

Most all ABS is for the front on Jeeps from what I've seen not all wheels. And there could be a few things missing from the list but it is the most complete I've ever seen for XJ general info..Originally Posted by dabeast727

Ok so i found this junk yard that has like 5 cherokees one of them being a country edition. I think ima go and see if i can get some skids off of this thing. Also they are asking 250 for the axle. Is it worthi it? I think its a 8.25
Is ABS not good? I have ABS all the way around.

If you decide to get that 8.25 from J/Y then check the gearing,. If it does not match yours then one end or the other will need to be re-geared as well. Just my two cents worth.

Also I don't think 250 is a good price for a 8.25. My bud just pulled a D-44 out of our JY for 175. And they even pulled it and loaded it up for him. They wanted 150 if he did the work pulling it he 25 bucks and they will pull it go ahead.Originally Posted by srt-iz

Yeah, 250 isn't a good price for an 8.25. For that you could get an 8.8 or a D44. Heck, you could probably get an 8.8 already set up for an XJ.
