Default Cherokee Classic 4-switch bezel

All,

Need help locating a 'hard to find' item for my 1999 Cherokee Classic. The part is:
MoparŽ 04897505ag Cherokee 4 Switch Bezel Power Outlet

The item is discontinued, but I have found two NOS on line, but at outrageous costs from $249.00 to $275.00 +/-. I do not need the switches, or harness, just the bezel. I'm hoping to find one used at a reasonable price. Can anyone help?

There is one on e-bay now, but priced way out of what I would spend.

I just started the search yesterday from home and have not searched the junk yards yet. Whenever I have, it has been the 3 - switch bezels that I have seen, but I never really looked for a 4-bezel type.

You can Dremel out the 3 port one and epoxy the switch in. Did that when I installed fogs.

You might find a unicorn before that 4 switch bezel I've been looking.

For reference these bezel plates were only installed in '97+ Police Package XJs. The fourth spot is for the extended idle. '96- seem to be more popular with the police crowd. Especially since Ford upped their fleet program.

GOOD additional info. I've got a niece who works in one of the larger jy's in the Baltimore,MD area. She gives 110% on finding stuff for me. Can't hurt to ask.

No not at all, just pointing out that the chances of finding a '97+ Police XJ in a JY are rather slim

They were also used in export XJ's where a second fog lamp switch was mounted (rear fogs). And rather slim pickings as well.
