Default Check my tire wear, any thing else to look for?

Hows it going,

I purchased new tires last year and noticed they were wearing poorly in front even though it was "in spec". All of the steering components (Rustys track bar, drag link and tie rod) were new with a fresh alignment done prior to purchasing these tires.

Since noticing the wear on the tires, I have replaced:

Before I go by new tires again and get it realigned... are there any other worn parts I should look for that would be causing this? This happened VERY fast so something was seriously outta wack and Im hoping what I have replaced has covered it.

          Thanks in advance.

When you did BJ's and bushings, did you have it re-aligned?

Literally did that all this weekend, so no I havent. Didn't want to spend money on an alignment until after new tires are installed and everything was checked for excessive wear.

It was pretty close to this bad when I noticed it wasn't an even wear all the way across.

The two things that can cause that is toe and camber. Your alignment was off when thos tires went on, or, something wore out in between.

Do you do your own work on the jeep?

If not, take it to your mechanic, have him do the inspection/replacement, and get an alignment along with new tires and balance at the same time. Yes, this is gonna be expensive, lol

If you just replaced it this weekend, just get new shoes, have them balanced properly, and do the alignment once the tires are mounted.

I do work on my own Jeep, I can't think of anything else that could replaced. Ill get some new shoes and have it aligned and hope I'm not going to run through another pair of tires.

Add to the list is all new sway bar bushings and link bushings.

Any good alignment/tire shop will let you know what's up during the alignment process, if they're worth they're salt. As long as you get it aligned after major front end component work, you should be fine.

Short of bent "c's" on the axle, you should be golden.

Is the left side tire worn like that? If not, it isn't a toe issue.

Very true, but those are the two things that can cause wear like that, all I was saying.

A thorough check out is in order.

Hows your steering wheel? Does it track straight? And when you turn it to full lock does it return to the center when moving? (suggest testing in a parking lot) My alignment is bad and i can tell since i turn my wheel left and it slowly goes back to the center meanwhile i turn my wheel right, in the middle of turning the wheel starts pulling into lock and not back to the center. This is a good easy way to tell you need something aligned. But id get it redone somewhere else maybe with more rep.

The driver side/left wheel is identical to the passenger/right wheel.

Does not track straight at all, its honestly all over the place and seems to pull right. The steering wheel is slightly turned to the left when going down a straight road.

It does seem to recenter it self but I would try it out after work.

Excessive toe-in is a distinct possibility then.

X2 on this. Would also cause it to not want to go straight.
