Do you think the gas cap would fix it or could it be the EGR valve?

Did you check the charcoal cannister? Changing the gas cap may be beneficial.

I changed the gas cap today and disconnected the battery and the light turned off. I am glad the light turned off because I was able to buy a 12" Kicker CVR and 1000W Crunch amp this combo THUMPS!!!!.

In that case Sorry we helped you to fix your CEL. Saved money is supposed to go for lift or trail parts not amps and speakers. That is what a ricer would do. LMAO !!!!

Default hard starting code po442
2001 4.7 grand cherokee is hard to start col but starts right up warm and getting code po442. any ideas?
