Click the key 3 times and see what the code is.
ODBII.com I think has all the codes, if not allpar.com does.
Fix problem...light will go off.
Otherwise disconnect battery...Turn on headlights for 20 minutes and it will clear the codes. But it will most likely come back if you don't fix the problem.

We have the codes here in a sticky. I gave them to Kyle and he included them in a sticky and OKC added the OBD I codes as well.

Either buy a code reader (Scanner) or get the code read at a parts house and then read the codes linked for you above and let us know what had the CEL lit!

Doesn't really negatively effect anything, but it would be nice to cure it one day...You can try checking your gas cap, all the lines running in and out of your gas tank...Here's a diagram to help you out...
Later.

Try looking to see if the charcoal cannister is clogged or the line crimped. That is what I read on another forum awhile back about that code(PO442).

Does anyone know if a new gas cap from Autozone will fix the problem. I really need the light to turn off it is getting annoying not knowing if it is hurting the engine or not.
