P0455: Large evap leak (start by swapping your gas cap with a new Mopar cap)

P0705: Usually related to your neutral safety switch. Oftentimes, refurbishing it will restore full function and knock out that code. Try this procedure.

I found those switches at very different prices. On ebay there's one for $45 nd another for over $200. Is there something in particular that I should look for. I will be going to a mechanic so I figured I'd have them replace it rather than refurbish it.

You would be better off refurbishing a MOPAR NSS than spending $45 on a piece of crap ebay NSS. There is a big difference in quality and reliability.
New MOPAR neutral safety switches are expensive; therefore it is usually worth trying to refurbish the original NSS.

How do I know it's the nss? The link you sent me it says to turn on in park, see if reverse lights work, and turn off on neutral. My jeep does them all.

SEARCH and you'll see that P0705 is most often caused by the NSS. That's why I recommend refurbishing the NSS as the first course of action.

Ok hopefully mechanic doesn't charge much for that kind of work. I will buy a gas cap tomorrow nd restart the battery. If both codes come up still i will have mechanic find the damaged hose replace it nd refurbish the nss all at once. Thanks for the help.
