Default Check engine after clutch replacment

Hello everyone, I am new to this site but not new to jeep. I replaced my clutch today on my 95 xj with the ax-15 I know I didn't get the exaust on exactly like it was, I now have a check engine light after about 3-4 miles of driving but it does not come on before that 3-4 miles.

I don't want to start tearing into it before I get a second thought on the matter, I am about 90% sure it has to do with the exhaust, if you have done this or have any thoughts please put anything you think it could be and I will give it a shot.
Thank you!

What is the code? Key on, key off, key on, key off, key on and count the flashes of the check engine light.

Well '94 is obd1 so your only going to have one o2 sensor, i would check there first and be sure its actually hooked up, that is if you believe its in the exhaust. As said before, get the codes, without them we cant say much

I have tried the key trick, the check engine light is only on after 3 miles of driving not when I start it. The key trick does not work I have tried several times. I will check the o2 sensor tonight when I have the time and post back. Thank you guys

The codes won't flash if the engine is running. If the is on while driving there should be codes stored. Try it again.

Ok so I was t waiting long enough for the codes to show, it's codes 12 and 21
12- battery recently disconnected
21- bad o2 sensor

Once I fix thoes how do I wipe the codes just reset the computer?

Leave the negative battery cable disconnected for 15-20 minutes should clear the codes.

Remove the negative battery terminal from the battery and touch it to the positive terminal end for about ten seconds, that will clear the adaptive memory and the PCM will go into a relearn mode when you start the engine.
