Just wait and do it right. Why spend extra money when it's not needed? Especially if you're going to do a better job on it later

A brush is just as bad
I've seen a lot of very well done roll on/ brush on paint jobs. I thought the same thing at first (Yikes) then my opinion changed.

Hell if you really wheel them what difference does it make, the paint gets scraped and scratched up fast anyway lol.

I have done the rustoleum paint jobs where you roll it on in the past on a Monte Carlo SS that was five different colors, and an old international pickup that when I got it was primed in rustoleum. All I wanted was to make them 1 color while I worked on them. Actually turned out decent, and cheap. You can search on it, just Google rustoleum roll on paint job. For 100-150 in paint and supplies it's not bad, for a Jeep that's going to be used might not be a bad way to go as touch ups are easy enough.
With that said, I won't do it again. I have never sprayed high dollar paint but the amount of prep required is the same, probably more honestly then just using automotive paint and spraying it.
I have sprayed several cars, always used summit racings paint and always been happy. From an old xj I took to metal and used their epoxy primer and then a black BC/CC to a 63 valiant of my sisters, used the epoxy, primer and a blue BC/CC and a few other cars. Paint was always consistent, nice clear and all in all a great, inexpensive, decent quality automotive paint that's friendly for the novice. You can buy the paint, depending on SS or BC/CC for 300-500 I would say and it's actually pretty good quality. Has held up for a couple years without any loss in depth or color, shine etc.
