Default Cheap, Dirty and a Virgin?

The best kind......
Now I did it....I bought another one...a 93 Sport for $200.00 (That's cheap!) and yes she's a bit dirty, but her body isn't to shabby and she runs!! Oh and the best part...Yes she's a virgin...Not a dent on her under-side, no rust and no signs of ever being off the pavement. Can you say SORE!!
I do have a question... is it the Chrysler 8 1/4 diff that comes with a rubber drain plug?? I only know Dana/ can anyone fill me in if it is a 8 1/4......
and what's the pros & cons?
I'll post pics asap.

well congrats on the find, i wish i could find one like that (i would make it into the official CF rockcrawler )

anyhoo. the 8.25 that you have on yours is a 27 spline which is a tad bit stronger then the d35. If you plan on running 33's i would go ahead and swap that axle out for a bolt on 44 or a 97+ c8.25 as it has 29spls.

I have a dana 44 with an ARB air locker & custom disc brakes in the XXXJ and love it! I've never had a 8.25 in anything that I can recall. I'm leaving the leafs in this time, I already have a new set of Rubicons with a 4 1/2 inch lift.
This was a great find..I'm building another totally custom project with this sweetheart!

Hey Kyle, I could use suggestions from CF to build this project...Do you have CF sticker or something like that?? It could become the official/ unofficial rockcrawler for CF.

Thanks for the tips on the rear end...maybe I'll see how much it can handle before it blows up...any bets???

well I wouldnt put any locker in the d35 its not worth it. As for the stickers we will have some when CF has about 1k members.

I tossed the last perfectly good d35 I had, so I thought this time I would use the locker just for fun and see how far I could push it ...till it broke. I guess the 8.25 will have to do for the fun part and I'll be on the lookout for another d44...or 60 this time.
I have a permanent marker to write CF on the new rig...we've got to get the new members here somehow!! I'll tell um I'm not sanctioned yet.

Any real cool ideas for the new rig? ...let's get real creative...Go wild...What's everyones 2 cents worth?

I wouldn't risk my life for two hundred bucks...I just towed her home... it was easier & safer, then sprayed her off and got to know her a little before I cut her up and turn her into the rock crawling ***** from hell next week.

Extreme body modifications to start, pull the entire drive train inspect & rebuild (has 250 thou) ...probably a stroker..d44 or 60 front and rear...custom long arm four link front and leaf rear...6 plus lift...major brake upgrades...488s etc. etc. all it takes is time and money!
