Charcoal canister vacuum lines
The vacuum line between the charcoal canister and the fuel tank vent hard line up on the firewall has cracked apart on my XJ. The end on the canister is way larger than the hardline.
Is this a dealer only line that has one end larger than the other end? What have most people done to repair this hose?

On completely different stuff sometimes I'll cut a short piece (an inch), of tubing to put on a smaller tube, (or nipple), to bring the size up to match the other larger tube.
