I've never used a press. I just use a BFH and a corona and they seem to go right in and out no prob.

i do mine IN autozone so I dont even have to rent it. I drive down there pull that part and change it in the store.... wheel bearing changes are within 20 minutes now....

so there is a little piece of metal sticking out that wont let the side in the second pic go through. ive been beeting it with a hammer and tried scraping it off but no luck. now my wonderful fiancee is yelling at me to hurry up lol

so i went to autozone to use their balljoint press and they didnt have a wrench or socket to fit it in the store so that didnt work. i got it in a little further but still cant get it all the way in. any more ideas

use the press but bring your own tools

it is a 3/4" if i remember correctly
