I did! $4,200.00 and thought I got a bargain. It's a bit on the rat-tat side having been used to transport workers and material in the park and for camper patrol but hey, I'm not complaining. It rides and drives like a new one. It had 45K on it when purchased. No maint. records...

I imagine the Snap-On dealer has a version he would love to sell for around $50.00 or more. Some versions are in pliers form. The one I purchased at HF has the clamping mechanism at the end of a cable attached to pliers with a locking mechanism. The lock makes it a breeze to control the clamp once opened and the small clamping and release head on a cable makes it easy to reach the small confines of modern engine compartments.
Got a link or the proper name of said tool? I couldn't find anything on HF's site.

Wrong. That would be the tool that let the spring slip and shatter my pinky nail.

The Lislse tool already posted here has a name. Did you check the link? I'm going to Harbor Freight today, I'll see if I can get a part number for the cable model. their website must be run by Chinese...if the terminology isn't exactly what they call the part it doesn't come up.

The Lisle tool already posted here has a name: Hose clamp plier. Just make certain you get the one for the constant pressure band clamp as there are multiple versions of clamps on the market. Do you realize you just responded to a 9 year old thread? I don't think anyone is listening.
