Default Changing the ECU

Hello, thanks for any help you have. I just got a 2005 Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 Hemi and I have been told the ECU is junk. In the past when changing the ECU on other Dodge vehicles I have had to buy a "Kit', thats the ECU, any Keys and the transponder thats around the ignition key slot on the steering column. is it the same for this car? I'm in the UK.

You may be in the UK but you're in the wrong forum.

You should repost your question in the GRAND Cherokee forum here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f5/

Good luck to you and welcome.
