Talking CEL 27

Hi all. Just a little update for those of you who may have read and advised on an earlier post I made. I had an issue with cel 27 popping up and my XJ running like **** intermittently. I tried just about everything I could to fix the problem. I changed injectors, injector connectors, every sensor under the hood, fuel pump, cleaned ecm etc...etc... Could not figure out what was causing it. Finally was able to get ahold of GM tech friend of mine who told me that it sounds more like a wiring issue. So I started pulling apart the harness feeding the injectors. I finally found at the back of the motor, the wires going to injector 6 had melted off the wire insulation near the back of the head and were touching each other. Repaired the wires, and problem seems to have gone and motor running smoother than ever. Just to keep from happening again, I zip tied the harness up to the throttle cable to keep clear of the head.
