OK so my mechanic lost one half of this thing, specifically the half of it that goes to the back of the air cleaner box (whole thing marked in red):



Haven't had a lick of luck finding one of these. The dip**** mechanic lost mine, and the local Jeep dealer, NAPA and Pep Boys all told me they don't sell them. Aren't these a common part on Jeeps throughout the 1990s, in ZJs and XJs alike? Mine's a 4.0 RENIX but I've seen pics of later 4.0s and it seemed the same.

 

I'm pretty sure I saw posted that Napa sells that "vacuum harness". Since that CCV vent passes through that..."block" with the other vacuum lines, maybe...Idk!

 

Is the block still there or just half of it, and it goes by vacuum harness at most parts stores

 

OK so look at the picture above, starting from the top of the engine where the hose comes out. See where it slants down, then straightens out? And see where, right in the middle of that straight part there's a junction where it attaches to the right angled piece to the right? I have everything from that juntion point and LEFT, so I have the half that attaches to the top of the engine. So right now it's pulled around behind everything and jammed in the port on the back of the air cleaner. I'm missing the rest of it.

I'll check out parts under the terms you all mentioned.

 

If you can find the routing for all the lines on the harness you can replace it with regular vacuum line that block on the intake is nothing special and just another point for vacuum leaks
