you do not have to go to a dealer to get the parts. The self help section at O'Reilly auto parts has the parts. rear tube 47057(grey). Front 47079(black) and gromment 42344. If you have trouble finding the front elbow, purchase an extra rear one and drill a 3/8th hole in it.

If your having trouble locating the front one at O'Reilly like I did PCV945 is identical in dimensions it just requires drilling it out. No biggie.

Guys! I've heard rumors you can soften up the rubber with a tiny bit of brake fluid to get them out. Has anyone done this?

After reading your post I tried that on the old one I took out and it really didn't soften it at all.

Will the the front valve part number 47079 work on a 96? What about dorman 47128 hoses(pic)?

I am looking for the following as well. I need the runner piece for the rear and front. That connects the elbows to the hoses. I believe the front is the straight connector hose which I see above if that works please let me know. The back one is the larger opening to the smaller opening. Does anyone know where to find that? Mine literally broke apart in my hand.

Not sure about that. Try O'Reilly's Auto Parts. That's where I got the rubber boots. If not get a piece of straight thin wall aluminum tube slightly larger OD then the ID of the boots from the hardware store. I know Ace hardware carries it.

I mean don't you think you could just cap off the elbow and then drill a hole in the cap and insert the small tube into the hole? Just trying to think out of the box here

Did you break the tube between the elbow and the intake manifold or the one to the airbox? If your talking about drilling into the ccv valve itself then no you cant.

The tube is not broke. The fitting into the intake manifold is perfect too. It is the rubber fitting that is from the elbow out of the valve cover to the tube. There is a rubber piece that connects the 2 because they are difference sizes. The front tube and fittings I got and fit perfect. It is the back one that I am having problems finding just the fitting. It is a rubber kind of thing. It is just tough to duplicate with how you are connecting 2 difference sizes.

Ok now I understand. O'Reilly's do have it. I remember the guy did have a problem finding it in the computer. It was listed under PCV valves not CCV.

It is brake cleaner that does this. But you have to be quick. Cause it evaporates quick. I use this trick to get stuff that is just a little to big to fit in hose that is a hair small. But also with stuff that does not matter much. No idea what long term effects brake cleaner might have on rubber hose.

Rubbing alcohol works for lubing rubber hose as well, and won't damage it.

The Dorman PCV elbow was in stock but the BWD CCV was only available as "ship to home". As an alternative, I think you can get them from the dealer for about $8.00 each.

will it work for a 94 cherokee 4.0?
