I broke the hard line on the rear going to the intake any reason I can just use a soft line and some clamps?

Some people do. Just use vacuum rated hose.

Oil and crankcase solvent vapors can turn the wrong type of rubber into goo. Use a hose rated for oil and solvents.

I ordered one of those from a dealership once (through the local Car Quest) and it wasn't all that expensive IIRC. Probably want to get a new grommet & elbow for the valve cover at the same time. Those are cheap too.

I'm glad you said that do I have the right part? I don't see how this goes together and in searching I havn't seen the little tab before. Someone walk me through how to install the ccv? I.E. Stick gromet in insert elbo
