a cobra 29 ltd is a very popular one for the truckers and the hobbiests... they can fluctuate in price a little bit though i've picked them up as cheap as $30 but i've seen them up in the $150-170 range also

I only use my CB for tail runs.
I run a Uniden 510. I do not treat it well. I've had it 8 years and it's never missed a beat.
