what model radio and where do you want your ant. mounted

heres mine Cobra 19DXIII mounted by my left knee under dash angled upward with the mic on the A-pillar and the ant. driver front fender(less coax means better signal strength and opposite your AM/FM ant to eliminate intereference

i now have an 2.5" Ext. Speaker mounted next to the transmission hump by my right knee agained up cause these radios dont have the clearest speakers when pointed at the ground

and heres the Ant. 4' fiberglass whip with a HD 3" spring

for hookup ground it(i used the nut on the pedal brackets) power i used the open Batt. slot in the fuse block so i dont need the key on to use it and run the coax through the hole in the firewall

Mounting location depends alot on personal preferrence. Some people mounted under thier dash, or between the sun visors or on the passenger side of the trans hump. Whatever is most comfortable and easily accesible for you.

I mounted mine on a custom center console between the seats. It is out of the way, within easy reach. It is also close enough I can plug an ear piece into it if I need to.

Well here's mine it's probably not the best spot. But I set it up clean ( no wires dangling) plus it helps alot to not have a head liner.
