Default Cat Issues... Rattling?

My cat is making some crazy noises... like a tin can with rocks.. i thought it was the heat shield but its coming from somewhere else, could it be the cat? does that mean its bad or going bad?

Take him to the vet right away. Sounds serious cats are not supposed to rattle they meow and purr.

Sorry about the cat joke, couldn't resist you left yourself so wide open.

The 242 is great I like it better than my prior 231s. When I lived in Georgia and went up into the mountains in the winter I used fulltime almost all winter.
Now living back in Texas I rarely use it but like to know it is there. I used the fulltime during our recent hurricane as many roads were flooded and had been washed out and the mud was pretty slippery. Too much of a hassle changing into and out of part time so I slapped it into fulltime and no worries.

The catalytic converter has a ceramic core and once it starts to rattle it needs to be replaced. Thought I would throw that in. BTW what did the vet say?

Cadillac converters are way too big. You need to stick with a Jeep converter.

Yeah getting a little punchy. Been up since Thursday morning as the wife has been ill. Had to tend to her and just sitting in the chair by the bed to keep an eye on her. No, or very little sleep and the forum helps me stay awake so I can be a good husband. She has done the same for me when I was injured and when I was post-op. It is the least I can do.
