I'm looking to get a cartop carrier compatible with a 98 roof rack. A friend gave me a carrier but it's for the type of roof rack with raised (open) side rails for securing mounting straps around. The Cherokee roof rack bolts flush onto the roof. The one I think would work would be one that secures to the moveable cross bars. I'll do a search but I thought if someone knows of a compatible one I'd go that route. Thanks.
