Luggage carrier with panoramic sun roof
I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have never used a luggage carrier previously. I just purchased the Mopar Multipurpose Rack kit (Part# 82212072AD) and the Mopar Luggage carrier (part# 82207198). The Cross Bars have a weight rating of 150 lbs. However, the carrier actually sits down in between the cross bars, or at least that is what it seems from the pictures I have observed. So my question and concern is around the roof. I have a panoramic sun roof so the 100+ pounds of luggage will actually be sitting on the Sun Roof. Is this ok or did I purchase the wrong carrier for my vehicle? Thank you,
