be sure to do your research, ive read many reports of these aftermarket "direct drop-in" carpets not fitting size and shape wise and so on......best bet for a proper fit would be autowrecker, ive actually come across some pretty mint interiors in the junkyard but i dont want carpet only reason i havent cut out more than the cargo area is because it helps keep noise down, as soon as a very base model or fleet cherokee comes up ill snag the rubber flooring .
and yea dont be surprised to find that good ole rust hiding under there.
removal is pretty basic, remove seats, trim, console, seat belts and pull it out.

id look in the junkyard for some carpet but the only problem is the wind and sand tears up the carpets and ruins them quick here and no one knows how to keep a car clean here either especially if its in the junkyard

I removed and simpled greened / power washed my carpets. I was amazed at how clean they became. You might give that a try first before spending money on new carpets. JB

This works really great. Pull the carpet throw it in the back of a truck and run up to the local car wash. Spray it with cleaner of your choice and spray away. Best results if you can spray it while its hanging on a wall, really gets the sand out. Dry it hanging over a fence or something of the sort.
