Cardan joint noise
hello my cardan joint is squeeking is there a way to grease u joints that don't have a zert fitting on them? I'll be ordering 3 New U joints and a centering yoke soon.

the double cardan should have a grease fitting, but often the shaft need be dropped to get at it. see video. grease will likely cure the squeek. you may need a needle fitting on grease gun, or an extended zerk fitting . sometimes the fitting is simply a plug, which must be replaced with a grease fitting for greasing, then back to the plug for running.
