Default thumping noise?

Okay guys. Well I went on some bumpy terrain recently and when I left I had this bad thumping noise right under my feet when I hit bumps. I figured it was My ball joints but they didn't have any play in them so.. I looked around and I noticed that there was some play in the u joint on my intermediate shaft. But I didn't have any extra in my stearing wheel so I kinda ruled that out. Then tonight I was on a gravel road and when iI got off I noticed the noise was there a lot more often. So I looked under my Jeep and I noticed my front differential where my driveshaft goes in was leaking a little mmore than useual but it always leaked a little so now I'm wondering if that yoke is floating.aaround in there because that seal is a goner. No idea! Any ideas???

Are they overly tight to the point of binding? Might be worth the time to remove it and check the joints by hand.
Transmission mounts? Exhaust loose? (ok, that's under the passenger side, but still...)
