Can't solve my ABS light problem
Hi - I have a 1995 Cherokee Country and I'm having problems with my ABS. I've had a shop put it on their computer and they told me that the passenger rear sensor had failed. I replaced the sensor with a new one, light never went out, had the shop throw it on their machine again and they are telling me it's still the passenger rear. Long story short, I welded new floor pans into into my Jeep and I never unhooked the battery. So I was thinking that maybe I fried the ABS computer. I bought a used ABS computer and the problem still persists. I've looked at all of the fuses and everything seems to be good with them. I live in Canada so not having ABS in the winter is treacherous at times. I'm reluctant to go back to the repair shop for them to hook it up to the computer, charge my $120 and tell me the same thing.
Can anyone give me any more ideas?

The early abs systems are kinda crappy and hard to fix,Which sounds like you are seeing this.Like said the tone ring not clean and or wiring problem. But im one of the few that don't like abs i have unhooked it a few times on my cars/trucks.
