Can't shift my T case into 4 low

Default Can't shift my T case into 4 low

anyone ever have problems shifting their transfer case into 4 low. it acts as my lever is bent and cant reach all the way down my column to reach the 4 low option. any help would be great guys

you probley have a linkage problem, there is a way you can adjust it under your jeep, i cant exactly explain how though sorry

Mine had the same prob. When i popped off the plastic bezel around the tcase shifter I found a ziptie around the shift gate preventing the lever from going past Neutral. I just cut it off and now I can get into low. I have heard of others with this problem as well.

thats weird, do you know why it had a zip tie around it?

No idea. Perhaps it was left over from some assembly procedure and never removed? I have seen other pics posted that have the same ziptie around the shift gate as well.

ya i heard about the linkage adjustment. I know its not because of a zip tie though because this has just occured recently, I use to be able to shift into low with no problem

i got this on my xj.we think it might have something to do wit the fact its got a 3inch lift wit no tcdrop or sye.
