Default cant seem to align after wheeling trip

Ok, so about a week ago I went out wheeling and the alignment went out. No biggie as I've aligned my jeep before and always worked out great. I tried to aligne it twice already and it always seems to pull a little to the left. Also when I had to straighten out the steering wheel I only ever needed to turn ( that piece on the drag link or whatever, cant remember the name ) about a 1/4 turn or so and all was good. Now I have to turn it about to full turns to get the same amount.
I did about 150 miles of quite rough service roads. I'm at fault for following buddy who was driving a bit fast through this sooo...anyways.
Also took a couple good hits but I thought I was ok. Can anyone tell me what I may have messed up?? Could the steering box be buggered?
Thanks

So I've triple checked the alignment and it was bang on. So I've decided to increase the toe in and see what happens. I'm still not sure what might be wrong but if someone has any ideas please let me know.
Thank you.
