I have a 96 4 door where the drivers door push mechanism has given way. It won't allow me to push it anymore, my thumb just goes into the door. I took the panel off only to not find much because it's all blocked from view. I looked up on youtube where someone cut off the out panel on the door (it was an extra one he had laying around). He showed what goes bad and what each rod went to and did. He did NOT show how to re-engage the spring behind the push button. Does anyone know how to fix this or are there any videos.

 

Amazon sells new door handles... replace it, the new handle won't come with nuts so you should grab those from a hardware store that has metric fasteners, I wanna say they are 6-7mm? Little tiny nuts
