Cant get out front sway bar link bolts

Default Cant get out front sway bar link bolts

The front sway bar bolt was seized asf, tried hammering and ratcheting

Cut off the head and threads

i drilled most of my way through but i cant get the hole any bigger than this

Heat

edit, Iooked closer at the pic and reading yr post properly

heat is what you needed, and then crank it out with nuts and thick tube, see archives etc

dont know what you need to do there bro to fix that properly, as that bolt (if its the one I am thinking of) would be a very tight interference fit

so making a new one fit in there as it needs to may be very difficult, I cant think of any other way but having to weld the new one in, or replace the whole part

Those "bolts" are splined pressed in studs.

old one was welded in 😮‍💨

now that i cut off the weld tho i might try the u joint removal tool with a wedge in the center of the hole 🤔
